Why am I here?
Well, the chances are you are staying in one of the apartments under my management. I created this site to provide you with all crucial information to have stresless vacation. The information include things like what to do, where to eat, how to get around, tips from locals and much more.
What can I do from here?
Besides getting all the information you need, you can also make reservations for the airport transfers, book activities and excursion, make restaurant reservations, make an online check-in and more..
How can I get to my apartment?
Here are your options:
1. You can get an Uber from the airport to the apartment. It’s ok to use them for groups of up to 4 people with not much luggage. If you have an app, you’re good to go!
Airport – Mlini – approx. 20 euros
Airport – Cavtat – approx. 15 euros
2. Private transfers are a bit more expensive but also much more convenient than Uber. It’s suitable for any group size, regardless of luggage. Chauffeur will wait for you at the airport terminal with your name on a paper, pick you up and take you straight to the apartment.
Airport – Mlini – 35 euros
Airport – Cavtat – 25 euros
3. Shuttle buses cost 9 euros per person, and are extremely inconvenient to use, so I would recommend avoiding them. Local buses do not go through airport are, so that is not an option.
How to get around??
Car rental
All of the apartments come with free parking so if you decided to rent a car that’s one thing less to worry about. Best prices on car rental will be online. Walk-ins get a higher price than an advance online reservation, so keep that in mind. One more thing to keep in mind are parking prices around the Old Town (7 euros/hour) so it’s better to use one of the alternatives listed below to go to the Old Town.
Taxi boat
By far the most fun way to get around. I definitely recommend using it at least once during your stay. You can read more info on how it works on the ‘buy tickets’ button.
When buying tickets, you don’t have to specify the date, just the quantity. Once you get the tickets, you can use them on any day you like!
Prices for a return ticket, per person
Mlini – Dubrovnik Old Town – 15 euros
Cavtat – Dubrovnik Old Town – 15 euros
Uber
Works 24/7, and the price for the trip to the Old Town is 15-20 euros from Mlini and around 30 euros from Cavtat. They also have passenger van options for larger groups.
Local Buses
Local buses are frequent, and close to all apartments I manage, including yours. Keep in mind that they can get a bit crowded during peak season, and pricewise for a group of 4 or more people it’s better to use Uber.
You can read more instruction on how to use them, download timetable, where to buy tickets etc by clicking on the button.

Where to eat??
There’s over 500 restaurants in Dubrovnik area, so often it’s not easy to decide where to go for a bite. Thing that makes it harder is that most of them are quite similar in terms of menu items and prices with lot of them being of dubious quality. Most of them are open only for the summer season, and make a living from tourists, and not from repeat business! I compiled a list of restaurants in Mlini, Srebreno and Dubrovnik which are worth a visit. If it’s not listed here and it’s located in Mlini&Srebreno it’s probabbly not worth a visit!
Restaurant Ruzmarin – Srebreno

Live music occasionally
Konoba Lanterna – Mlini
Mediterranean cuisine (focus on fresh fish and seafood)

Most of the tables are indoors, outdoor terrace has only seatings for 2
No parking in vicinity
Restaurant Puntizela – Mlini

Unconsistent food quality
Bit expensive for what you get

Things to see, places to visit!!
City of Dubrovnik dates back 14 centuries and as expected there are lots of stories to be heard and a lot of things to be seen! Good thing is that most of historic and cultural sites are located in the Old Town or in the vicinity, so they could easily be visited even if you’re staying here for just a couple of days. Some of them are completely free, some are not. Some of historical and cultural sights are covered by Dubrovnik pass, so it might be a good value to get one if you are planning to visit few of these sites.

Frequently asked questions
Cash or Card?
You can use your Debit/Credit card for almost all payments. All restaurants, markets, stores, and most of the bars will accept payments by card. Exceptions would be local buses, and some of the bars, so make sure to ask before you sit down.
What about tips?
Tips are not included on the bill. Standard tip in a restaurant or a bar is around 10%, but there is no need to leave tips larger than 15-20 eur, regardles of the bill amount, since that amount is considered a good tip!
What to do when it rains?
From May to October we have less than 10 rainy days. So if it happens that it rains on of the days during your stay, you’re out of luck. Dubrovnik is a ”summer city” and besides visiting museums or going to the cinema there isn’t much to do when it rains.
Nightlife?
Old Town is the best place to go out. There are a lot of small vibrant bars in the streets with people from all over the world in them. They all close by 1am, and if you want to stay longer your options are Revelin night Club and Banje beach bar.
Daytrip to Bosnia or Montenegro?
It’s possible to visit both of those countries and come back on the same day. If you plan to do this with a rental car, make sure you have insurance required to cross the border. Expect some waiting time at the border crossing!
